John L. Daub, 92, of Whitehall, died March 8, 2024, at Fellowship Terrace. He was the husband of Mary (Matika) Daub for 53 years.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Leo and Mary (Sabol) Daub.

He was a 1950 graduate of Central Catholic High School. He attended Penn State University and received a degree in drafting.

He served in the U.S. Air Force.

He was a design engineer for the automotive industry, retiring in 1987.

He was a longtime member of St. John Fisher Catholic Church, North Catasauqua. He was an usher at the church and took senior citizen bus trips with Knights of Columbus church members.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by many nieces and nephews.
