Frederick “Fred” Oswald, 88, of Fellowship Community, died March 3, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the husband of the late Kathryn “Betty” Oswald for 44 years.

Born in Catasauqua, he was the son of the late Miriam and Claude Oswald.

He was a graduate of Catasauqua High School.

He worked for many years at the former Atlas Powder Company Reynolds plant and Bethlehem Steel.

He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church.

He is survived by two stepsons, George Yanoshik Jr. of Phoenixville and David Yanoshik of Bethlehem Township; a sister, Marjorie Kunkle; and a brother, Douglas.
