Fred N. Fuss, 98, of Allentown, died March 1, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest, Allentown. He was the loving husband of the late Gerdi C. (Kriska) Fuss with whom he shared 47 years of marriage. Born in Berlin, Germany, he was a son of the late Joel and Ida (Nowack) Fuss.

He earned his master’s degree in engineering sciences/physics from the Technische Universität Berlin in 1950.

He worked at Bell Telephone Laboratories for 32 years and was a member of the technical staff.

He is survived by a daughter, Sylvia Mueller and her husband, Arndt; grandchildren, Mara and Niels Mueller.

Graveside services were held at Western Salisbury Cemetery. Arrangements were made by the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus.
