Presbyterian Church of Catasauqua, 210 Pine St., will be offering its monthly free community lunch 11 a.m.-1 p.m. March 18. Come on out for some great food and camaraderie with neighbors.

The Friends of Catasauqua Parks group will next meet 6:30 p.m. March 20 at Catasauqua Borough Municipal Complex, 90 Bridge St. The group meets the third Wednesday of each month.

The mission of the group is to improve the quality of life of Catasauqua residents through recreational fundraising events to sustain our parks. The group is looking for new volunteers and members. There is no cost or dues to pay to join.

Catasauqua Community Thrift Shop, 113 Bridge St., is having a bag sale on everything in the shop March 18-28.

The shop is happy to accept donations of good, used, clean clothing, toys and household items during store hours - 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays. Proceeds from the thrift shop are returned to the community through contributions that support youth and adult programs and services.

The shop will be closed for Easter, changeover and cleaning March 29-April 3. It will reopen April 4 with all new clothing for spring and summer.
