A 67-year-old Virginia man was found dead inside the cab of his tractor-trailer 9:39 a.m. on March 1 on the I-78 W Exit 45 off ramp, Weisenberg Township.

According to Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio, Larry H. Harris Jr., of Hampton, Va. was pronounced dead at 11:05 a.m. the same day at the scene.

Buglio said Harris was found inside his tractor-trailer combo, which was parked and secured.

According to Buglio, there was no suspicious circumstances involving his death.

An autopsy was performed March 4 to determine the cause of Harris’ death.

According to Lehigh County Chief Deputy Coroner Rick Pender via telephone on March 4, the cause and manner of Harris’ death are pending further results.

In addition to the coroner’s office, State Police Troop M, Fogelsville, are investigating Harris’ death.
