I’m sure many of you hope spring weather is just around the corner.

Fundraisers are starting up again in full force.

Let’s see what is happening in the next couple of weeks in Heidelberg!

Heidelberg Union Church, Slatington, will host a St. Patrick’s Day gift card bingo at noon on March 16. Snow date is March 23.

There will also be a 50/50 raffle, and the kitchen will be open.

Tickets will be available at the door or can be purchased in advance.

There will be limited seating so get tickets early.

Germansville Fire Company is having an Easter fundraiser.

On the menu is homemade potato filling by the pan (feeds between 4-8 people), homemade 8-inch Shoofly pie, and homemade bacon dressing per pint.

Orders are due by March 23.

Pick up will take place between 9-11 a.m. on March 30.

St John’s Lutheran Church, Slatington, is having a fundraiser.

On the menu is homemade Dutch chicken potpie with three bean salad, and chocolate cream cheese cupcakes, grilled chicken ranch club on a kaiser roll, chicken bow tie soup, crab bisque, or cheese soup, all by the quart.

Orders must be submitted to the church office by March 17.

Pickup will take place 9-11 a.m. on March 23.

The Senior Social Center at New Life Church, 6804 Weiss Road, New Tripoli, welcomes senior guests from noon to 4 p.m. every Tuesday.
