The Lehigh Gap Nature Center’s new “Nature in Art Club” will be presenting a spring art show March 9-15 at the Osprey House, 8844 Paint Mill Road, Washington Township.
Admission is free and the show will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 9 and 10.
Art will also be available for viewing throughout the following week from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., concluding on March 15 with an artist’s reception at 5 p.m.
The Nature Center has gathered various types of art from more than 25 local area artists who have submitted over 70 pieces of artwork for the show.
Media types include oil, acrylic and watercolor paint, photography, and several kinds of artisanal work.
Many of the art pieces will be available for purchase at the show.
“We are excited to present the first art show led by the Nature Center’s own art club. Come out and see works from local artists, photographers, and artisans. Enjoy the hiking and biking trails while you are here too,” LGNC Nature in Art Club member Anna Costello said.
