Frederick “Butch” A. Gibiser, 79, died Feb. 22, 2024, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
The husband of the late Carol Gibiser, who died Sept. 3, 2018, the couple was married for 48 years.
Born in Easton, he was the son of the late Adolf and Catherine (Kopfer) Gibiser from Eberau, Burgenland, Austria, who immigrated to the U.S. in 1928.
A 1963 graduate of Parkland High School, he earned an accounting degree from Churchman’s Business College, after serving in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War era.
He retired from Bethlehem Steel as a staff accountant in 1985, the same time he and his wife purchased a franchise for Lehigh County from Merry Maids of Memphis, Tenn.
They owned the business 37 years.
His survivors include a daughter Sheri Estrella and her husband, Michael, of High Bridge, N.J.; son, Chad, of Emmaus; and grandchildren Evan and Leah Estrella.
He was predeceased by a sister, Elsie.

Per his request, there will be no service.
His cremated remains will be privately placed at Old Zionsville UCC Union Cemetery with his wife.
