Gerald “Chirp” R. Reenock, 92, of Coplay, died Feb. 23, 2024, at home. He was the husband of Tessie C. (Farkas) for 69 years.
Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late Stephen and Katherine (Kyra) Reenock.
He served in the U.S. Air Force.
He worked at Bethlehem Steel and retired early after 41 years of service.
He was a member of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, where he was a weekly pierogie-making volunteer.
He was active with the St. Peter and Paul Hungarian Society, St. Nick’s Ukrainian Association and many local clubs. He was a bowler and rolled a perfect 300.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four daughters, Gail Gage and husband Don, Sandra Miller and husband Terry, Stephanie Motsko and husband James and Andrea Giltner and husband Thomas; seven grandchildren, Jenn, Jamie, Jeremy, Matthew, Jade, Kalei and Thomas; two great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Paisley; nieces; and nephews.
He was predeceased by two brothers, David and Richard Sr.; and a sister, Rosemarie.
