Salisbury twirling will hold a cash bingo online Feb. 28. The Zoom session will open 6:30 p.m. and the first game will start 7 p.m. It is suggested to use one divide per card and you can play at home or with friends. All Salisbury Township schools will be closed March 8 for a professional development day. School will reopen March 11.

Salisbury football will hold spring minicamp workouts for interested students in grades 6-11. March 9, 16, 23 and 30 sessions will be broken down by position to emphasize the focus on each individual athlete and develop skills needed for those positions. April 6, 13, 20 and 27 sessions will progress to full team workouts to continue to build on basics of positional fundamentals of the game. St. Luke’s University Health Network will present its “Youth in Sport Safety Summit” 6-7:30 p.m. March 20. This will be a virtual event presented by athletic trainers and sports performance coaches from St. Luke’s Sports Medicine. This is a free event but it does require registration. Are you interested in serving on the board of the Salisbury Township School District? The board of school directors is looking for applicants to fill a vacancy on the board until December 2025. There will also be a Trustee At-Large seat on the Lehigh Carbon Community College Board available beginning July 1. Each member school district may submit the name of one candidate for the position.
