Ruth M. Schaffer, 87, of Whitehall, died on Feb. 21, 2024, in her home.

She was the spouse of the late Patricia Ann Hontz, who died Jan. 28.

Born Sept. 14, 1936, in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late William and Anna (Erdell) Schaffer.

An assembly line technician at B. Braun Medical Inc., Bethlehem, for 20 years before retiring, she previously was a floor lady at the former R&F Dress Factory, Allentown.

Her survivors include nephews Dean R. Mohr (Donna) of Macungie, and Thomas W. Mohr (Kirstin) of Virginia.
