Joanne L. Billig, 89, of Fogelsville, died on Feb. 20, 2024, in the Atrium of Allentown.

She was the wife of the late Harold J. Billig.

Born April 15, 1934, in Williamsport, Lycoming County, she was the daughter of the late Sherman A. and Sylvia (Aderhold) Mutchler.

She was a payroll clerk at the Lycoming Division of AVCO, Williamsport, for 20 years before retiring in 1972.

She was a member of Hope Community Evangelical Congregational Church, Fogelsville and the Order of the Eastern Star, New Temple Chapter 298, Allentown.

Her survivors include stepchildren Florence L. Pail (John) of Catasauqua, David D. Billig (Sandy) of Fogelsville, Diane M. Cichonski (Charles) of Allentown, Donald W. Billig (Julann) of Germansville, Judith M. Friedman (Thomas) of Lansdale, Douglas E. Billig (Jane) of Fogelsville, and Sherri L. Confalone (Dan) of Allentown; son-in-law Larry Peters of Walnutport; 26 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by stepchildren Carol A. Peters, Harold Granville Billig, and Barbara Ann Burkhard; and a sister, Nancy Jane Lehman.
