Clifford J. German Sr., 75, formerly of Slatington, died Feb. 19, 2024, in Wilkes-Barre Veterans Medical Center, where he resided.

Born Sept. 27, 1948, in Northampton, he was the son of the late Randall and Esther (Wotring) German.

He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War era.

He was a machine operator at the former Stanwood Mills, Slatington, before retiring.

He was a member of Heidelberg Union Church, Heidelberg Township.

His survivors include a son Clifford J. German Jr. of Coaldale; sisters Alice Miskowski of Millville, and Patricia Keep of California; and grandchildren Annikah and Donovan.
