Sheckler Elementary School will have a spirit day Feb. 29 and March 1.

For Feb. 29, students are celebrating the leap year by leaping into reading and wearing green.

On March 1, students will continue celebrating reading by wearing a shirt with words.

The Scholastic book fair will be March 1-7 for in-school shopping and March 1-14 for the virtual sale.

There is a Home and School meeting set for 6-7 p.m. March 7.

Literacy night is set for March 7. Doors open for Roughie Readers Rock 5:45 p.m., and the fun will begin 6-8 p.m.

The book fair will be running, along with chances to play bingo, winning basket prizes and sweet treats from the fourth-grade Baking Club!
