Josephine Paul, 84, of Northampton, died Feb. 20, 2024, at Bethlehem North Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Godfrey Paul.

Born in Nazareth, she was a daughter of the late Alois and Anna (Berner) Doncses Hammer.

She was a 1957 graduate of Nazareth High School.

She was employed by Nazareth Mutual Insurance Company, retiring in 1999.

She was a member of Queenship of Mary Church, Northampton.

She is survived by two daughters, Rhonda Mickno and husband Kenneth and Sheila; a granddaughter, Jessica; a brother, Alois Hammer and wife Diane; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by five brothers, Joseph, John, Edward, Roland and Alfred; and a sister, Anna Bodnar.

Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or National Kidney Foundation in her memory.
