Frederick “Butch” A. Gibiser, 79, died Feb. 22, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. He was the husband of the late Carol Gibiser for 48 years who died Sept. 3, 2018. Born in Easton, he was the son of the late Adolf and Catherine (Kopfer) Gibiser from Eberau, Burgenland, Austria, arriving in the U.S. in 1928.
He was a 1963 graduate of Parkland High School and earned an accounting degree from Churchman’s Business College, after serving in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era.
He retired from Bethlehem Steel as a staff accountant in 1985, the same time he and his wife purchased a franchise from Merry Maids of Memphis, Tenn., for Lehigh County and they owned it for 37 years.
He is survived by a daughter, Sheri Estrella and her husband, Michael, of High Bridge, N.J.; son, Chad, of Emmaus; grandchildren, Evan and Leah Estrella. He was predeceased by a sister, Elsie.

Per his request, there will be no services. His cremated remains will be privately placed at Old Zionsville UCC Union Cemetery with his wife. Arrangements have been entrusted to Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Homes, Emmaus.
