Catasauqua Community Thrift Shop, 113 Bridge St., will be holding a half-price sale on everything in the shop March 4-16.
The shop staff are happy to accept donations of good, used, clean clothing, toys and household items during store hours. Proceeds from the shop are returned to the community through contributions that support youth and adult programs and services.
Regular hours at the shop are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Come on in for some great shopping.

Historic Catasauqua Preservation Association will be having a pierogi sale. The deadline to order is March 8.
Pierogies are sold by the dozen and made using the original St. Andrew’s potato and cheese recipe. Cash, checks or credit cards will be accepted.
Pickup is scheduled for 1:30-3:30 p.m. or 5-6:30 p.m. March 16 at St. John Fisher Catholic Church, 1229 Third St., North Catasauqua.

Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, 604 Fourth St., continues to have Warm-Up Wednesdays soup giveaways from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
This weekly event is open to the community of Catasauqua. Stop by for some free soup, as every week promises a delicious homemade experience.
A huge thank you to Pastor Brian Riedy and the volunteers who plan, shop, prepare, cook, serve and clean up each week.
