Barbara A. Gerhard, 87, of Whitehall, died Feb. 15, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. She was the wife of Joseph C. Gerhard for 65 years.

Born in North Catasauqua, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary (Zahradnik) Churetta.

She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from St. Agnes School of Nursing in 1957.

She was a registered nurse in the recovery room at Sacred Heart Hospital.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, JoLynn Baumer; and a granddaughter, Lauren Fragnito.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
