Family members: My parents are Paul and Julie Darno and I have three older siblings: Teresa, Veronica and Andrew

Favorite subject: my favorite subject is probably math because I like problem-solving and working with numbers.

Activities: I play football and basketball. I am Senior Class president and a member of the National Honor Society. I also am involved in Key Club, National Language Honor Society, mini-Thon committee, Altar Serving, Catholic Athletes in Christ and Yearbook.

Next steps: I plan to attend a four-year college.

Career goals: I want to earn a Bachelor’s degree in the major I choose and have a successful career.

Heroes: My hero is probably my dad. He’s a great role model, my biggest supporter and has always pushed me to be the greatest person I can be.

Hobbies: I enjoy playing golf with my friends and playing board games with my family.

Likes: I like Chinese food, the Pittsburgh Steelers and watching TV.

Dislikes: I do not like ketchup, horror movies or clowns.

Greatest accomplishment (so far): My greatest accomplishment so far was being named First Team All State for football or being named Team Captain for my senior year.

Advice for peers: I would tell my peers to just enjoy and take in every day as a high school student because before we know it, we’ll have graduated and looked back on these days as memories.
