“Mamma Mia!” brings romance to the stage with classic Abba hits, 7 p.m. Feb. 29, March 1, 2; 2 p.m. March 3, auditorium, Northwestern Lehigh High School, 6493 Route 309, New Tripoli, Lynn Township.

Director Bill Mutimer, Producing Artistic Director of NCC Summer Theater, is assisted by music director Chad Miller and choreographer Tina Somes-Williams.

Set on a Greek island, a young bride-to-be invites three men from her mother’s past to her wedding without consulting mom. She is determined to find out which one is her father and have him walk her down the aisle.

With music and lyrics by Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson and book by Catherine Johnson, the musical comedy debuted on Broadway in 2001, receiving five Tony Award nominations.

Songs include “Dancing Queen,” “Gimme, Gimme, Gimme,” “S.O.S.,” “Take a Chance on Me” and “Mamma Mia!”
