At the Jan. 2 reorganization meeting, Northampton County Council approved Lori Vargo Heffner as president with a vote of 5-3. Ronald Heckman was appointed to serve as her vice president.

The board also welcomed three new members - Ken Kraft, Kelly Keegan and Jeffrey Warren. Their terms will expire Dec. 31, 2027.

A fourth member will be appointed shortly to fill the seat vacated by Tara Zrinski, who is currently serving as county controller. The term expires Dec. 31, 2025.

Council also appointed Chris Spadoni as solicitor.
