Rose H. Almond, 100, of Northampton, died Feb. 15, 2024, at Weston Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late William P. Almond.

Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Alois J. and Mary (Novogratz) Knopf. She worked for Dr. Charles Fox, Northampton, and then for Cross Country Clothes until she retired.

She was a member of Queenship of Mary Church, Northampton.

She is survived by two sons, William J. with Marie and Michael J. with Bonnie; two daughters, Sylvia Genevese and Mary Rose Frantz with Charles; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by sisters; brothers; a daughter-in-law, Barbara; and a son-in-law, John Genevese.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11 a.m. Feb. 23 at the church, 1324 Newport Ave., Northampton, 18067.
