Northampton: Breakfast planned for Feb. 25

Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 2181 Washington Ave., will hold a breakfast 8 a.m.-noon Feb. 25 in the social hall. Choose from an omelet or scrambled eggs, French toast, pancakes, hash browns, sausage, ham or bacon, toast, coffee, tea and juice.

It is open to the public.

Grace United Church of Christ, 902 Lincoln Ave., is selling homemade chocolates for the upcoming Easter holiday. Orders and payment are due by Feb. 25, with pickup planned for 10 a.m.-noon March 23 at the church.

Reminder: If you ordered meat pies and apple dumplings from Grace UCC, they can be picked up Feb. 24 at the church.

Grace UCC is holding eat-in or takeout crabcake and chicken finger dinners 4:30-6:30 p.m. March 1, 8 and 15.

Dinners include two crabcakes or three chicken fingers, a baked potato, coleslaw, roll and a brownie for dessert.

Tickets can be purchased at the door.

Troop 93 will be holding a pancake breakfast 8 a.m.-noon March 3 at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, 105 E. 19th St.

Scouts will be serving pancakes, sausage and drinks. Pancake flavors include plain, blueberry and chocolate chip with optional fruit toppings.

Wildlands Conservancy will be hosting a Get Out for Wellness event 10 a.m.-noon March 16 at the D&L Trailhead at Canal Street Park, 1400 Canal St.

Join participants for a round-trip hike on the towpath treadway, crossing the Hokendauqua Creek where the Nor-Bath Trail intersects the D&L. See remains of the Central Railroad of New Jersey iron bridge built in 1884 and historic lock remains.

Assumption of the Virgin Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 1301 Newport Ave., is having a nut roll sale. Flavors include apricot, lekvar, nut, poppy seed, red raspberry and pumpkin.

All orders can be picked up 10 a.m.-noon March 23 at the church.

Holy Trinity Nursery School, 1235 Main St., is currently registering for the 2024-25 academic year.

The 2-year-old playgroup class will meet 9:30-11 a.m. Mondays and Wednesdays. Class size is limited to 12 children. Children do not need to be toilet trained for this class.

The 3-year-old class meets 9-11:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Class size is limited to 16 children. Children need to be toilet trained for this class.

The 4-year-old class meets 12:15-2:45 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Class size is limited to 16 children. Children need to be toilet trained for this class.

Children must turn the appropriate age for the class by Sept. 1.
