PRESS PHOTOS BY JIM MARSH Salisbury residents awake to a snowscape of heavy wet snow clinging to trees and bushes Feb. 13. While it provided Lehigh Valley residents with a short interval of nature's beauty, it came at a price to many who had to face shoveling out vehicles, cleaning up downed branches and even power outages for some.

The heavy wet snow uprooted and toppled a large pine on his property, leaving Messina pondering when and how to clear the mess that resulted.
