Rick “Gooche” D. Coombe, 64, of Fullerton, died February 15, 2024. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Jean L. (Roth) Coombe and the late Robert G. Coombe. He was the husband of Pauline (Spirko) Coombe for 23 years.

He was a 1977 graduate of Whitehall High School where he was in many sports. He tossed a no hitter in the Lehigh Valley Legion League in June 1977. He was a scratch golfer and won the Whitehall Open in 1985. He scored a hole-in-one at Woodland Hill Country Club on July 7, 1994.

He was a groundskeeper at Saucon Valley Country Club. He worked at Hilbert’s Pharmacy and was a fork lift driver at DHL.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sisters, Linda Gallagher with husband Joe, Cindy Joseph and Eileen Coombe; cousins; nieces; and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother, Bruce A. Coombe.
