Carl H. and Nancy J. (Urffer) Wieder, of Emmaus, celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary Feb. 12.

They were married Feb. 12, 1954, by the Rev. Royce Schaeffer in St. John’s United Church of Christ, Emmaus.

The couple has three children: Eric (Michele) Wieder of St. Augustine, Fla.; Kathy (David) Zaborowski of Emmaus, and Marjorie Wieder Reagan (Robert) of Plainfield Township.

The couple has seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

They celebrated their special day with a family luncheon at the couple’s home.
