pper Macungie and the Wildlands Conservancy are offering an Intro to Snowshoeing class and winter hike 11 a.m.-noon on Feb. 17 at Lone Lane Park, 30 Lone Lane.

If there is no snow, participants can still try on snowshoes to get the feel in the grass before being led through the woods on a short nature hike by a Wildlands Conservancy educator.

A Pennsylvania Hunter, Trapper Education class will be offered from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 24 at the township building, 8330 Schantz Road.

This free training class is required by law for all first-time hunters and trappers before they can buy a license.

Participants must pass a certification exam at the end of the class to complete this training.

All registrants for this event must be 11 years of age by Feb. 24.

No lunch is provided. Students should bring their own food and drink.
