Bethlehem Emergency Sheltering is partnering with the Bethlehem Area Public Library to provide information for people who are experiencing homelessness, risk of homelessness or who need resources. Computer savvy volunteers will input guest information into a software database and search for appropriate resources any weekday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and relay information in written form and verbally. The K-9 Kop Project’s mission is to purchase equipment, services, training and/or K-9s for officers who protect us in our communities through fundraising efforts that include exciting basket raffles. Become a basket raffle outreach volunteer. Your charisma and passion can help us secure fantastic donations from local businesses. Lehigh Valley Auto Dealers Association is seeking community volunteers to staff the 2024 Lehigh Valley Auto Show for 4-hour shifts. The show is scheduled for March 21-24 at Stabler Athletic & Convocation Center. All functions are indoors. Volunteers are provided with a T-shirt, snacks and free parking. Calling all animal lovers – volunteers are needed for cat care and socialization, dog walkers, smadll animal (rabbit and guinea pig) care, laundry, dishwashing and maintenance related duties at the Lehigh Valley Humane Society, Allentown. Fowler Literacy Center at ProJeCt of Easton is now accepting volunteer applications for the position of test proctor. Volunteers will ensure a controlled testing environment that will allow test-takers to perform to the very best of their abilities for the CASAS test (Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment Systems) and/or the GED (General Education Development). Sights for Hope is seeking volunteers to work with staff to administer vision-screening tests for preschool and kindergarten age children in Lehigh or Northampton County.
