Coplay: St. John’s plans ziti dinner

St. John’s Lutheran Church, 18 S. Third St., is planning to hold a four-cheese baked ziti pickup dinner, which also includes salad, applesauce, roll and dessert. Freewill donations are accepted.

Preorders are required, and orders are due by Feb. 16.

Pickup is scheduled for 4-5:30 p.m. Feb. 24.

Coplay Saengerbund, 205 S. Fifth St., continues its Saturday night musical entertainment. Live music will be held 7-10 p.m.

The schedule features Tim Harakal Feb. 17 and Steve and Steve Feb. 24.

There is no cover charge.

Coplay Sports will be holding sign-ups for baseball and softball at the Coplay Wildcat Den, 666 Potter Terrace. In-person sign-ups will be 5:30-7:30 p.m. Feb. 21 and noon-2 p.m. Feb. 24 and March 2.

Online sign-ups are open at coplaysports.org.

Baseball is for ages 9-15, and softball is for ages 5-8.

Coplay Public Library, 49 S. Fifth St., is holding a 50/50 raffle through Feb. 29. Stop by to purchase tickets.

The drawing will be held 10 a.m. March 1.

American Club of Coplay, 300 Cherry St., is planning a dance night for 7-10 p.m. March 1. Doors open 5 p.m.

The Castaway Band will be the entertainment. The kitchen will be open with a cash bar.

There is a cost.

The third annual spring craft show is planned for 9 a.m.-3 p.m. March 3 at Coplay Social Hall, 165 Cherry St. There will be a bake sale to benefit Coplay Public Library during the show.

Coplay Food Bank, located in the lower level of the municipal building, is open 8:30-10 a.m. the second Tuesday of every month.

If unable to attend the scheduled Tuesday morning time frame, call Jodi at 610-262-0928 to make other arrangements.

The food bank needs coffee, spaghetti sauce and noodles, canned pasta, rice pouches and non-sweetened dry cereals. Monetary donations are always accepted.
