Congratulations to Catasauqua Middle School’s February Roughies of the Month. The honored students are Fabiana Rengifo Ampuero, fifth grade; Austin Younes, sixth grade; Brielle Cunningham, seventh grade; Dylan Smith, eighth grade; and Mahlya Eitner, related arts.

Catasauqua Area School District will be closed Feb. 16-19 for the Presidents Day holiday.

The CMS parent teacher forum will next meet 7 p.m. Feb. 20 in the school library.

The Strengthening Families program will continue 5:30-8 p.m. Wednesdays Feb. 20 and 27 and March 5.

The middle of the third-quarter marking period is Feb. 26.

The goal for the third marking period is school attendance. Students with no more than two unexcused absences will have the opportunity to take part in a soccer game with teacher coaches.
