Charles H. Boyer, 98, of Orefield, died Feb. 7, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown. He was the husband of the late Jean L. (Diehl) Boyer.

Born in East Texas, he was the son of the late Norman Earl and Emily (Knauss) Boyer.

He was employed at the former Trojan Powder Company, South Whitehall Township, for 35 years before retiring.

He was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Mickleys, Whitehall.

He is survived by a son, David C. and wife Dorie of Allentown; two grandchildren, Ricardo L. and wife Kim and Racquel L.; two great-grandchildren, Shalyn J. Leigh and Vincent C.A.; and two great-great-grandchildren, Owen and Sophie.
