Betty B. Marks, 87, of Emmaus, died Feb. 5, 2023, in Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the wife of the late Joseph N. Marks Sr. Born in Derventa, Yugoslavia, she was the daughter of the late Karl and Katharina (Niklas) Bayer.
She worked as a seamstress and later in life as a housekeeper.
She was a member of the Macungie Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
She was known for her generosity to others and her steadfast unwavering faith.
She is survived by a son, Joseph N. Jr. and his wife, Tara, of Alburtis; daughters, Suzette S. and her husband, Garry Flores Sr. of Whitehall, Pamela A. and her husband, Stephen Mould, of Macungie, Nicole J. Ronco, of Dunwoody, Ga.; six grandchildren; one great-granddaughter. She was predeceased by siblings, Hans Bayer, Franz Bayer, Elisabeth Friedrich.

Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. March 2 in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 4571 Indian Creek Road, Macungie. Arrangements were made by the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus.
