Barbara A. Torba, of Hellertown and formerly of Whitehall, died Jan. 31, 2024. She was the wife of the late Walter “Tex” Torba for 48 years.

Born in Whitehall, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Elizabeth (Harakal) Mondrick.

She graduated from Whitehall High School.

She worked for Fuller Company/F.L. Smidth in various clerical positions.

She was a member of the former St. Andrew’s Catholic and the current St. John Fisher Roman Catholic Church, North Catasauqua.

She is survived by a son, Walt “Toby” and wife Melissa; a granddaughter, Tatum; a sister, Monica Karpowicz and husband Don of Green Valley, Ariz.; and a brother, Peter Mondrick and wife Cathy of San Marcos, Calif.

She was predeceased by a sister, Dora; and a brother, Joe.

Arrangements were made by Brubaker Funeral Home, Coplay.
