Bethlehem woman named president of Greater Lehigh Valley Realtors Associaton

Lori Campbell, a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Heritage Real Estate, Bethlehem, is the new president of the Greater Lehigh Valley Realtors (GLVR).

Campbell was sworn in at a Jan. 25 induction ceremony at the Steel Club.

Campbell, a full-time Realtor since 1986, succeeds GLVR President Howard Schaeffer of Re/Max Real Estate.

The president of GLVR holds the position for one year and is elected by a nominating committee, which consists of the past president and two directors.

Schaeffer, who served a rare two terms as president, did the honors of installing Campbell as GLVR president.

In addition to being a Realtor and licensed real estate salesperson in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, Campbell has a Associate Broker’s license.

Campbell, speaking to nearly 170 real estate professionals at the Steel Club ceremony, and who is known to many as a consummate professional, spoke highly of those who have come before her and of her mission to work collectively with the association’s members and volunteer board and committee members to better the real estate industry.

“Being the president of the Greater Lehigh Valley Realtors is a privilege that I don’t take lightly, and I am eager to dedicate my time and energy to serving the Realtors brand and to advancing the collective interests of our members,” Campbell said.

“I am inspired by the legacy of leadership that has bought us to this moment and will do my best to uphold the values that define GLVR,” said Campbell.

“I am filled with optimism about the upcoming year, and I’m excited about new initiatives. Let us embrace the challenges of our industry as opportunities and focus on serving our clients and interacting with each other with the highest level of professionalism,” Campbell said.

In addition to serving on the Greater Lehigh Valley Realtors Board of Directors, Campbell has a long, established history of service with the association. Dating back to 1996, Campbell has served on GLVR task forces and committees, including Special Events, Professional Standards, Grievance, MLS, Government Affairs and Education.

In addition to working full-time in real estate, Campbell owned and handled the marketing for a PODS (Portable on Demand Storage) franchise with her husband from 2006 to 2016. They also own investment real estate.

Campbell’s credentials include GRI (Graduate of the Real Estate Institute), CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), LPS (Luxury Property Specialist), Certified Relocation Specialist and International President’s Circle for Coldwell Banker. She is consistently a top producer.

A strong believer in volunteering within her community, Campbell has been a Meals on Wheels driver, has regularly prepared meals for Safe Harbor, is active in church, and serves as a Blood Services Coordinator for five blood drives per year for the American Red Cross.
