Freedom’s swim team won all but three events in its girls 125-30 and boys 108-58 victories over East Stroudsburg North on Jan. 30 at Freedom.
Patriot boys who took first place in individual events were Gabriel Maldonado in the 200 freestyle in 2:17.00, Micah Lawser in the 200 IM in 2:25.29 and the 100 butterfly in 59.79, AJ Black in the 100 free in 54.89, and Cody Smith in the 100 backstroke in 1:08.06.
Smith also won the diving event with a score of 231.65 and is currently 20 points shy of breaking the boys 6 meter school dive record.
In boys relays, Lawser, Black, Giovanni Camaione, and Matthew Gould placed first in the 200 medley relay in 1:55.56, Eddie Belen, Eric Wu, Aiden Schankel, and Griffin Kleinle won the 200 free relay in 1:59.61, and Drew Harvey, Asa Lawser, Maldonado, and Schankel took first in the 400 free relay in 4:15.67.
Patriot girls who took first place in individual events were Alivia Deemer in the 200 free in 2:14.38, Alexia Ragab in the 200 IM in 2:35.59 and the 100 fly in 1:11.61, Kaylee Buglino in the 50 free in 29.60 and the 500 free in 6:45.05, Lily Campbell in the 100 free in 1:06.54 and the 100 back in 1:16.23, and Margaret Marshaleck in the 100 breast in 1:25.85.
Taylor Hayden won the diving event with a score of 203.35.
In girls relays, Ragab, Deemer, Sofia Nabyt, and Laney Stewart placed first in the 200 medley relay in 2:06.36, Nabyt, Deemer, Ragab, and Stewart won the 200 free relay in 1:54.84, and Buglino, Campbell, Marshaleck, and Deemer took first in the 400 free relay in 4:37.19.
