W. Scott Labenberg, 66, of Allentown, died Jan. 28, 2024, at home. Born in Chapel Hill, N.C., he was a son of the late William H. and Judith K. (Schmoyer) Labenberg.

He graduated from Lehigh University in 1978.

He retired in 2019 after a 40-year career as a bank loan officer and vice president, having worked at Meridian, Core States, First Union, National Penn and ESSA banks.

He attended The Vine Calvary Chapel, Schnecksville.

He enjoyed golfing with friends, playing pink ball and sand castle competitions at the beach, playing board games and card games, snacking and, most of all, spending time with his family and 10 grandkids.

He is survived by children, W. Zachary and his wife, Jessica, of North Wales, Jessica H. and her husband, Dr. Todd E. Peters, of Cockeysville, Md., Katie R. and her husband, Tom Kluge, of Schwenksville, Amanda M., fiancee of Antonio Anderson, of Leesburg, Va.; grandchildren, Gianna, Xavier, Quentin, Cooper, Dexter, Lucy, Abigail, Chase, Ava, Luca; brothers, Christopher D., of Allentown, Peter A. and his wife, Laura, of Hendersonville, Tenn.; and Patti (Gerhart) Labenberg.
