Fullerton: Fun night scheduled for Feb. 9
St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 835 Third St., will hold a fun night 6-8 p.m. Feb. 9 in Fritze Hall. There will be supper, stories, crafts and music for youth in prekindergarten through fifth grade.

St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, 618 Fullerton Ave., will hold its next monthly breakfast buffet 8-11:30 a.m. Feb. 11. Come and fill up on your favorites of bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, home fries, pancakes, French toast sticks, Danish, juice and coffee.
Why not treat your favorite valentine? This month’s special is Cupid’s Arrows fruit skewers.

St. John’s will also be having a Mardi Gras Big Easy Brunch after the worship service Feb. 11.

Whitehall Active Community Center, 2301 Pine St., will be hosting Whitehall Township Police Department and serving free fastnachts Feb. 13, starting 11 a.m.
Registration is required to be able to serve all in attendance. Call 610-443-0675 to sign up. Lunch is also available for a small donation and needs to be ordered two days before.
The Whitehall police will speak and/or answer questions regarding the township.

Fullerton American Legion Post 367 Auxiliary will meet 6:30 p.m. Feb. 13 at the Post, 609 Fullerton Ave.

St. Elizabeth’s is having an Easter flower sale. All plants are $5 each and are grown at Garden City Greenhouses in North Catasauqua. There are hyacinths and tulips in different colors, as well as mini daffodils.
All plants must be preordered. The deadline to order is Feb. 19. All of the preordered plants can be picked up 10 a.m.-noon March 8 in the parish office and 8:30-11:15 a.m. March 10 in the parish hall.
For school families, indicate on the form if you want the plant(s) sent home with your student.
You can get an order form on the church website at dirreled@sercc.org, in the church bulletin, on Facebook, at the office or in the church vestibule.

St. Elizabeth’s will once again be offering low-impact aerobic classes for 10 weeks. The 45-minute classes will run 6:15-7 p.m. Tuesdays Feb. 27-April 30.
The church will also be offering a beginner, 30-minute, low-impact aerobic exercise class 5:30-6 p.m. Tuesdays Feb. 27-April 16. If you haven’t exercised in a while but are ready to ease your way back in, this may be the class for you.
Instructor Karen Hoff will hold the classes in the parish hall, 435 Pershing Blvd. Classes will help get you moving and increase flexibility, moves and balance. Bring a friend!
The registration deadline is Feb. 23 or until the maximum number of participants is reached.
