Coplay: Retro-themed dance planned for Feb. 10
A 1980s-themed dance called “Living in the 1980s was Risky Business” is set for 6-10 p.m. Feb. 10 at American Club of Coplay, 300 Cherry St. Doors will open 5:30 p.m.
There is a cost, which includes a pasta dinner, soda, beer and spirits.

Whitehall-Coplay Hunger Initiative will be holding a cash bingo with a $200 jackpot Feb. 11 at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 4 S. 5th St. Doors open 1 p.m., and bingo starts at 2 p.m.
Attendees are asked to bring a nonperishable item for the food pantry.

Coplay Sports will be holding sign-ups for baseball and softball at the Coplay Wildcat Den, 666 Potter Terrace. In-person sign-ups will be noon-2 p.m. Feb. 10 and 24 and March 2 and 5:30-7:30 p.m. Feb. 21.

Baseball is for ages 9-15, and softball is for ages 5-8.

St. John’s Lutheran Church, 18 S. Third St., is planning to hold a baked ziti pickup dinner Feb. 24. The pickup time is 4-5:30 p.m.
Dinner includes a four-cheese baked ziti with salad, applesauce, roll and dessert.

Coplay Food Bank, located in the lower level of the municipal building, is open 8:30-10 a.m. the second Tuesday of every month.
If unable to attend the scheduled Tuesday morning time frame, call Jodi at 610-262-0928 to make other arrangements.
The food bank needs coffee, spaghetti sauce and noodles, canned pasta, rice pouches and non-sweetened dry cereals. Monetary donations are always accepted.
