Grundsau Lodsch Nu. 16 Am Yahden will be having an event at 7 a.m. Feb. 2 at Wehr’s Dam Park (at the covered bridge), South Whitehall Township.

The event will include two groundhogs (Yahde and Grandson, Lee) coming down the Jordan River to predict whether there will be an early spring or six more weeks of winter.

Will Yahde see his shadow or not?

There will be some singing in the Pa. Dutch dialect along with other traditional activities for all to participate in.
