Working remotely, deliver services to clients who have been separated from family members in other countries due to armed conflict, migration, disasters, or other humanitarian emergencies. Cyberchance needs volunteers for numerous tasks in cybersecurity training, mentorship and career development opportunities. No specific skill set is required. Are you interested in meeting the needs of vulnerable children and families in the Lehigh Valley? You can easily get involved by registering with Keystone Family Alliance’s Gateway computer portal system. After a quick registration process, you will begin to receive periodic emails stating the needs of local families (i.e., diapers, pajamas). You can purchase any of the items that you choose. Marvine Elementary School in Bethlehem receives a food donation every Friday to distribute to the community. They need help 9:30 to 11 a.m. to organize and monitor the food when the community begins to take the items, a watcher for the quantities being taken, sign up list and break down boxes. Fowler Literacy Center at ProJeCt of Easton is now accepting volunteer applications for the position of test proctor. Volunteers will ensure a controlled testing environment that will allow test takers to perform to the very best of their abilities for the Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment Systems test and/or the General Education Development test. If you love working around dogs or cats and have general handyman skills, The Sanctuary at Haafsville in Breinigsville and Orefield could really use your help. Their two facilities need volunteers to help fix, maintain, construct, clean, paint and provide a safe environment for animals and humans. Hours are flexible throughout the week.
