Thomas Vernon Reed, 47, of Allentown, died in his home Jan. 20, 2024. Born in Allentown, he was the son of Linda L. (Oswald) Kemp and the late Thomas J. Reed.

He was baptized at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Emmaus and served in the U.S. Army.

He managed pyrotechnic teams for firework shows, such as Musikfest and Brookside.

His love for nature and wildlife encouraged him to establish several photography studios.

He is survived by his mother; stepfather, Jeffrey Kemp. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Vernon “Ossie” and Helen Oswald, Thomas G. and Wilma Reed.

Arrangements were made by the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Allentown.
