Shirley Young, 90, of Allentown, died Jan. 26, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospice. She was the wife of the late John Young. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Clayton and Margaret (Evans) Corrow.

She and her husband operated Young’s West End Pharmacy for many years. She was very active in volunteering within the community, including fire police at the River Road and Eastern Salisbury Fire companies. She held positions of secretary and president of the Lehigh Valley Pharmaceutical Auxiliary.

She was active in Salisbury sporting events, always supporting her children and the Salisbury Youth Association. She was a big fan of Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.

She is survived by her daughters, Cindy Caputo and her husband, Brian, Bev and spouse, Laurie; sons, Keith Cunningham and Jim; grandchildren, Kristine and Audrey Caputo; Jimmy and Nicole, TC Cunningham; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and extended family. She was predeceased by a son, Tom Cunningham; a daughter, Mickie.

A viewing will be held 11 a.m. Feb. 3 at the Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, 1227 W. Hamilton St., Allentown. Funeral service begins noon.
