Robert “Bob” J. Kozo, 80, of Northampton, died Jan. 22, 2024. He was the husband of former wife, Eileen (Eisenhauer) Kozo.
Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Francis G. and Anna (Sosnowsky) Kozo.
He was a 1961 graduate of Central Catholic High School, Allentown, and Bucknell University with a degree in accounting.
He served as a medic in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam era, achieving the rank of A3C.
He worked in the banking industry for many years. He worked at the former Cement National Bank, Northampton. Later, he worked for the state of Pennsylvania as a bank examiner.
He was a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Northampton, and was a member of the church’s Holy Name Society.
He spent time at Coplay Saengerbund.
In addition to his former wife, he is survived by two sons, Kevin and companion Kelly Kreider and Keith and wife Michelle; a granddaughter, Kelly; two grandsons, Nicholas and Joshua; and two sisters, Barbara Medernach and Suzanne Evans.
He was predeceased by a brother, Richard “Buzz.”
