Julius Schneider Jr., 81, of Salisbury Township, died Jan. 24, 2024. He was the husband of Eileen F. (Diehl) Schneider for 56 years. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of the late Julius and Elizabeth (Morotti) Schneider.

He served in the U.S. Air Force and was employed as a teacher at Raub Middle School in Allentown for many years until retiring.

He was active in the Allentown Teachers Association and the Allentown Teachers Credit Union.

He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Emmaus.

He is survived by his wife; sons, Craig (Amy) and Eric (Tiffany); sister, Rita Eberts (Glen); seven grandchildren. He was predeceased by his stepmother, Jean, who raised him since age five.
