Barbara H. Geitner, 84, of Bethlehem, died Jan. 17, 2024, at Whitehall Manor.

Born in Carlstadt, N.J., she was a daughter of the late Rev. E. William and Hannah (Masom) Geitner.

She was a math teacher at Bethlehem Area Vocational Technical School until she retired. She was a substitute teacher for local school districts and did bookkeeping at Moravian University.

She was a volunteer for the St. Luke’s Visiting Nurse Association and supported the angel campaign.

She is survived by two children, R. Peter with Amy Swart of Falls and Jonathan A. with Carolyn Swart of Bethlehem; four grandchildren, Kaylee, Joseph, Julia and Mara; a great-grandson, Matthias; a sister, Anna Ritsema of Holland, Mich.; a brother, the Rev. E. Peter of Carlisle; nieces; and nephews.
