The Salisbury girls swim team picked up a 64-29 win over Stroudsburg Monday, while the Falcons boys lost the meet 73-16.

Olivia Amorim led the Falcon effort with two first-place finishes in individual events and two relay wins, while three other Salisbury girls swimmers won individual events and the Falcons swept the three relays.

Amorim took first place in the 200 freestyle and the 100 butterfly, while also swimming on the winning 200-yard medley relay team and the 400-yard freestyle relay team.

The Falcons opened the meet with a win in the medley relay with the foursome of Phoebe Ballek, Gwyn DeFazio, Amorim and Amelia Swoyer. The Salisbury foursome of Swoyer, Sally Wiggins, Kelley Meredith and DeFazio took first place in the 200 freestyle relay. And the Falcons finished the meet with a win in the 400 freestyle relay with Amorim, Allison Beckage, Wiggins and Ballek.

Ballek also won the individual 500-yard freestyle, while Swoyer took first place in the 50 freestyle and Samantha Conrad won the 100-yard backstroke.

In the boys meet, the Mountaineers won every individual event and all three relays. Salisbury’s Cameron Kubinsky led the Falcons with two top-three finishes, taking second place in the 100 butterfly and third place in the individual medley.
