Liberty’s swim team scored two wins against Allentown Central Catholic when the Hurricane girls won, 115-64, and the Hurricane boys won, 99-64, on Jan. 18 at Liberty.
Winners in girls events for Liberty were Lilah McClarin, Leah Onia, Audrey Bloss-Ferry, and Chelsea Hearn in the 200 medley relay in 2:01.96, Bloss-Ferry in the 200 IM in 2:27.97 and the 100 butterfly in 1:05.71, and Hearn in the 50 freestyle in 26.99 and the 100 free in 59.58.
Eva Madeira won diving with a score of 180.75.
Amelia Paxton, Sophia O’Hara, Hearn, and Bloss-Ferry combined to win the 200 free relay in 1:49.63, McClarin took first place in the 100 backstroke in 1:08.04, Onia came in first in the 100 breaststroke in 1:14.31, and Katie Bruno, O’Hara, Onia, and Paxton won the 400 free relay in 4:14.70.
Winners in boys events for Liberty were David Gabrielle, Logan Malozi, Wade Wu, and Ben Raineri in the 200 medley relay in 1:49.36, Malcolm Collins in the 200 IM in 2:01.85, Gabrielle in the 100 fly in 56.05 and the 100 back in 58.75, Wu in the 100 free in 53.15, John Cornish in the 500 free in 6:14.94, and Leo Negron in the 100 breast in 1:13.79.
Zivon DeLosSantos won diving with a score of 180.40.
The Hurricanes will have hosted Emmaus on Jan. 23 before traveling to Pocono Mountain East on Jan. 25.
