Salisbury High School baseball is holding a cash bingo fundraiser Feb. 4 at Salisbury Middle School. Doors open 11:30 a.m., bingo starts 1 p.m. Contact SHSFalconBB@gmail.com or a SHS baseball family for more information. A concession stand will be available.
The Salisbury Elementary School PTO is having a general meeting 6-8 p.m. Feb. 5 at SES.
The guidance office of SHS is holding a parent information evening 6:30 p.m. Feb. 6. This is a very informative meeting for parents of eighth and ninth graders as they are preparing to choose classes for their high school career.
Salisbury Youth Association spring baseball and soccer registrations are open. For more information, visit syasports.net.
The last Salisbury basketball home games are as follows. Varsity boys will be at home Jan. 25 vs. Catasauqua, Jan. 31 vs. Northwestern and Feb. 6 vs. Southern Lehigh.
Varsity girls will be home Jan. 26 vs. Panther Valley and Feb. 2 vs. Palmerton.
The Falcon wrestling team will have its last home meet Jan. 31 vs. Northern Lehigh.
The Salisbury Township Board of Commissioners has multiple committee vacancies they are looking to fill. There are openings on the recreation advisory committee, environmental advisory committee and the civil service commission. To schedule a bulk pickup with the new trash hauler Whitetail Disposal, call customer service at 610-936-9967 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to noon Saturdays. There is a limit of one bulk item per residential property per week. Large items of refuse can include furniture, carpet, mattresses and appliances. Mattresses and box springs must be wrapped in plastic and toilets must be bagged. Call to see if what you have can be placed out for collection. Call by noon on Friday to schedule your collection for the following week.
The Allentown Public Library, 1210 Hamilton St., Allentown, has many activities planned for the end of January and beginning of February.
Study Buddies is an after-school program at the library for third to eighth grade students to enhance study strategies, receive help with homework and build interpersonal skills. Study Buddies strives to increase academic and personal confidence 4:30 to 6 p.m. every Thursday.
For preschool age children, take them to the library 10:30 a.m. Jan. 26 and/or Feb. 2 for preschool art exploration. Children ages 3 to 5 years old can play and experiment with a variety of materials like crayons, paint, tissue paper, chalk, and more. No registration is required.
The Lego Club meets 3:30 p.m. Fridays. Each week, children 5 years old and up will receive a different Lego challenge to pursue. There is no registration required.
The Art & Craft Club happens at the library 4 p.m. every Wednesday. Planned projects include snow globes, bracelets and jewelry, paintings and recycled art. No registration is required.
“The Importance of Spices” program by Second Harvest Foodbank, will include demonstrations and audience participation in using spices to cook vegetable fried rice 2 p.m. Feb. 20 at the library.

The library is open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church will participate in the Lehigh County Conference of Churches Souper Bowl collection Feb. 11. Help is needed with monetary contributions to this mission of ministry to those in need in the local area. The ushers will be at the entrances with soup pots to accept contributions after the worship service.
Yoga is offered 11:30 a.m. Mondays in the church chapel. This is God-centered yoga taught by JWS member Emma Cordes. This weekly class is a low-impact, nonathletic session of easy moves and stretches set to relaxing music. Bring a yoga mat if you have one.
The Ladies Aid Society invites all to join them in the chapel 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesdays for crafting and/or fellowship.
The Ladies Aid Society will host an indoor yard sale 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 2 at the church. Donations of items will be accepted 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. March 1. Baked goods will also be available at the sale.
