Sheckler News: Information session is Jan. 31
Girl Scout troops will be hosting an information session 6-7 p.m. Jan. 31 at Presbyterian Church of Catasauqua, 210 Pine St. The session is free, and participants will learn more about the troops while enjoying an activity with other Girl Scouts.

Catasauqua Area School District will have an early dismissal Feb 7.
Sheckler will dismiss 1:30 p.m.

There is a Home and School meeting scheduled for 6-7 p.m. Feb. 8 at Sheckler.

CASD Board of Education will meet 7 p.m. Feb. 13 in the board room, located at 201 N. 14th St.

Catasauqua Youth Athletic Association is hosting an adults-only bingo and basket raffle March 2 at Catasauqua American Legion Post 215, 330 Second St. Doors open 11:30 a.m., and bingo begins 1 p.m.
There will be 20 games with cash prizes, special bingo games, a 50/50 raffle, a basket raffle, door prizes, concessions and a cash bar.

Fourth-grade students have begun work on their science fair projects. All projects will be due March 13.
