Carmella A. Pape, 96, of Macungie, died peacefully Jan. 16, 2024, in her home. She was the wife of the late Carl T. Pape. Born in Manhattan, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Mary (Marino) Rucireta.

She worked with her husband and later in retail sales for Macy’s and Fashion Bug, retiring at the age of 72.

She was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Emmaus.

She was a past Cub Scout leader and bowled in a bowling league for many years.

She is survived by a daughter, Tessa Marie and her husband, Scott Masiado, of Macungie; sons, Judd M., of Coopersburg, Michael and his wife, Patricia, of Kingman, Ariz.; grandchildren, Kelsy, Taylor, Brooke, Ashleigh, Erin, Brandi, Christine, Shannon; six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by sons, Allen A. and Carl V.; brother, Dominic; sisters, Rose and Theresa.
